Who Are We?

The Women’s Service League of North Central Washington (WSL) builds community through the empowerment of women and deliberate volunteer action. The League was originally founded in 2008 as the Junior Service League of Wenatchee (JSLW) but changed its name in 2018 to reflect its vision of service throughout the North Central Washington Region.

Who Can Apply?

Any 501c (3) non-profit organization or other organization within North Central Washington is encouraged to apply for grant funds from WSL, provided the organization shares our mission of helping the individuals, with an emphasis on the needs of women and children. Amounts granted will be based on needs of the applying applicant and the pool of available resources.

When to apply?

Grant applications are accepted
March 1 - April 30, 2023

The applications will be reviewed by a committee of WSL Members and the recipients will be notified by June 1 with funds distributed by June 30th.

A confirmation will be sent when the application is received.

Final Report

A final report is due by December 31 from each organization that receives funds. The report needs to be completed and emailed to If the project is not complete, a progress report can be submitted in lieu of a full report. The final report will need to contain specific information of how the dollars are spent or will be spent and copies of the receipts need to be included, where possible. Failure to file a final report could result in an application not be considered in subsequent years.
