“Dear Members of the Women’s Service League,

Thank you so much for your support of Upper Valley Connection.  To the majority of our participants, Theatre Camp is the highlight of their year.  A week spent connecting with friends both old and new.  A week stretching and growing talents and skills.  A week experiencing a special kind of joy only the arts in community can provide.

Your generosity makes such a wonderful difference in the lives of these amazing individuals.  We are honored to count the Women’s Service League as a supporter of UVC.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community!”

“Dear Victoria, Erica and Women’s Service League,

Thank you for supporting our mission to promote the rights of immigrants, Latinx, and marginalized communities in solidarity and in struggle.  Working together with our communities in their development and support through advocacy, education, and health.

Your kind donation towards our Feeding Smiles in Our Communities and Baby Steps pantries will help marginalized communities that do not have access to food or diapers.  We are thankful we can continue these programs that have impacted our communities.

Unidos Nueva Alianza is thankful to have sponsors like Women’s Service League, that together we can build communities through empowering each other to support our missions.  We are grateful for this opportunity.”

“Dear President and Members of the WSL Board,

On behalf of our participants, volunteers, staff, and board, I want to thank all of you for your grant award for our Financial Aid Fund!  The impact of your generosity will benefit up to 50 people in our therapeutic riding program and moves us closer to our goal for the year.

We are grateful for your partnership in our mission and confidence in our ability to carry it out successfully.  It is vital work, and you are an important part of it!

Thank you for everything you do to make the NCW community a better place.”

YWCA North Central Washington, Executive Director

“Dear Women’s Service League,

We are so excited to have been selected as a recipient of WSL funds.  The $2,000 you have given us will help us re-stock our in-house pantry in order to provide shelf-stable and non-perishable goods to YWCA NCW Housing and Outreach Clients.

Frequently, when people arrive at our doorstep seeking emergency shelter, they arrive with very few belongings, and typically have not had a stable source of food.  Our in-house pantry is the very first step in setting up our Housing and Outreach Clients for success!  We look forward to updating you on the impact this grant will have.

Thank you!”

Thank you for your recent donation to Central Washington.  We exist to keep children safe during a family crisis, support and stabilize families in crisis by surrounding them with caring, compassionate communities, and reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system.  With your partnership, we are helping keep children safe and families together.

"We wanted to say THANK YOU so much for love that was shown to my girls when we attended My Girlfriends Closet! My husband and I are raising our 3 beautiful nieces (daughters). I believe the ladies name was Beth that approached me and explained all of the services provided to the community. I was so blessed to hear how much this reaches out and touches the community. She mentioned about prom dresses and I told her my middle daughter was going to her Special Education prom the next Wednesday and my oldest was going to be allowed to go but, we didn't have a dress. She immediately asked me for the sizes and my number. Within about 20 minutes of us leaving I received a call saying they had dresses for them. Just to come back and pick them up!! When we arrived back, they handed us a huge bag and said here you go! When we got home and opened it. My oldest was so excited, the dress was purple, her favorite color, and it fit perfect. She received so many compliments at the dance. People were asking for pictures of it!! My middle one loved her dress!! It fit perfect also by the way!! I was overcome with joy to see the smiles and glow on my girls faces! They had never had such beautiful gowns! So again thank you so much!! You have truly blessed this family!! I have attached a photo of the girls in their dresses at the dance!! Thought you might like to share our story with your amazing group!"
