We are comprised of 100+ members ranging in ages from 20 to 90 years old, who passionately work together to meet the needs of women & children in the community. This is all thanks to the support we have received from our donors and individual volunteers. WSL could not do this without your unabated generosity.
August - November 2026
To join WSL, please attend one of the Open Enrollment General Meetings in August, September, October or November to learn more. WSL's fiscal year is July-June.
There are many reasons women join WSL - to make new friends, give back to the community, make a difference, gain service experience, and educate themselves on happenings within our community.
In August we hold a summer social and in June we wrap up our year with an end of the year celebration.
Membership Guidelines
The strength of Women's Service League lies in our members. Our WSL membership requirements have been written to encourage active membership. The requirements are such that even the busiest women can contribute.
Requirements:
- Payment of annual dues $50 and purchase of apron $25
- Volunteer 12 hours per year completed by June
- Volunteer at minimum 6 hours at My Girlfriend's Closet
- Attend General Meetings (when possible)
- Sign-up for a committee by the end of the year
- Provisional members do not have voting rights
Requirements:
- Payment of annual dues $50
- Serve on at least one committee during each year
- Volunteer 12 hours per year, completed by June
- Volunteer at minimum 6 hours at My Girlfriend's Closet
- Attend General Meetings (when possible)
- Any Member who leaves WSL as an active member in good standing may return as an active member.
Requirements:
- Payment of annual dues $75
- To become a sustainer you must be a member in good standing for at least 5 years.
$25 Aprons
Available for purchase throughout the year. They are worn at all of our volunteer events.
